I think 500 has an outstanding team. There's a lot to like about Clarks team, namely the GREAT Larry Bird, but KAJ and Mailman against Kemp and Mutumbo is just to big a mismatch

I actually really like Clark's Nash/Bird tandem compared to Kidd/English but he really can't hold up against Kareem and the Mailman. If you want to compete against those two you have to have a couple of bona fide top 50 players to at least keep it close to win in other areas.


Bench I go to 500 as well. Nothing lethal but I like the strengths of what some guys can bring. Lucas to board, Manu just has that big time experience(and 6th man experience) and Curry can be that perfect change up to Kidd with some outside scoring.

I think before Kemp got out of shape he could hold his own with Malone but Kareem would have his way with Dikembe. I actually like Clark's bench better and obviously having Bird is a great thing, he's just not enough.


This is probably the 2nd closest game IMO.

I think the plan here would have been to stretch with the defense... 7 seconds or less and try to out score like the Nash did with the Suns... With KAJ and Malone banging inside he couldn't hold up without running as much as he could...
