We should talk now about what we want to do about listing three stats, some people seem to want that rule changed. Should we just list our team with no stats or does anyone have a better idea?

I have a better idea!!!

I think we should be able to give an overall synopsis of our teams and/or stats... Give a word count so we don't have to read a book though...

Example (I'm using football so no basketball names or strategies will be used)

My offense would start out in a base 2 receiver set but I would go a lot of 3 receiver sets as well... When in a 2 back set I send my HB in motion to check coverage and use a lot of swings to my back when the pocket breaks down... When defense begins to cheat and back into zones I will pound some FB draws and/or FB/HB runs... Target Rice on every play he's 1on1... My defense is in attack mode... 9 in the box, blitz from every position taking chances on every play, but a few fake blitzing downs mostly on passing downs to try and trick the QB...

That's 114 words, and just an overview of what I'd look to do with my team... I'd do a little more emphasis on somethings less on others but this is just an example... I think it personalizes each team and gives your perspective on what you were building in the draft and why... You could also use your word count to say

Jerry Rice is has 1000000 yards at 20000 touchdowns...

I think 200 words would be more than enough maybe 120-150... Not too much more though as it might drag, just a few points you'd like to be made about your team I guess is what I was saying in this loooooonnnnnggggg ass post...

if nobody else is into it though I'm fine with the 3 stats...

I'm kinda with Ritz on this one, let's just get rid of stats all together. I thought it was a good idea when we introduced it but it's done nothing but cause confusion and bickering amongst us.

IMO, career averages on points, rebounds, assists, blocks and steals, and career year stats on the same

22 ppg, 9.5 rebs, 2.5 assists, 1.0 steals 1.1 blocks, CY 28.2, 10.5, 3.6, 1.1, 2.5

The player averaged 1.0 steals per game and in his best year had 1.1? That's damn consistent.

Man sometimes the earlier picks are tougher then the laters ones lol. Sucks when trying to find someone when guys you want are already gone


But its also fucking hard as hell choosing between a bunch. I have 3 maybe 4 guys that you could really go anyway on...WAMU should make it a little easier, unless he completely strikes out.

How about posting his career bests in each stat? Points, Boards, Assists, Steals, Blocks and maybe FT%, FG%, 3PT%.

Yeah I don't mind the bickering either. It's why I am in favor of people giving reasoning to their votes s well.
