Sorry Clayton on your lose in the playoffs. For the record many guys had you ranked high. I even thought despite the person drafting I liked the team and it would be tough to beat. Thanks man for doing another draft with us.

I am not happy at all that we didn't get a chance to set our lineup the way we wanted it for our Round 2 match up.

I say we close voting on Monday for Rd2 so we can get more votes. It's tough getting votes on weekends. Thoughts?

See that little red button towards the bottom right of the box, it's called edit and you have mod ability on the NBA board. Also, you didn't tell me you wanted to change your starting lineup. You may notice WLK told me he wanted to change his and it happened. But hey at least this gives you an excuse should you lose... :suds:

Your idea we followed your lead.

My original idea was we just do the rankings and not open this to voting simply because we just aren't getting votes anymore but i'm glad we didn't do didn't do it that way now, we are actually getting some votes.

I know the edit button I posted something I shouldn't have so I deleted it and wrote something else.

I didn't want to send you a blind lineup without knowing who I was going against. You didn't post the matchups until after I went to bed and when I woke up their was already votes tallied. However at the time I was leading 4-0 so my non setting lineup was working. If I was granted the opportunity to change my lineup before you posted it last night then I properly would have screwed it up even worse.

I feel like this can only be settled by playing NBA 2k.

I feel like Wade's prime and Dirk's prime were underrated in this discussion. Wade's prime was Jordanesque. Dirk was doling out 19+ win shares and won a championship post prime beating Kobe, Durant and Lebron.

I think these semi-finals have been the closest of all drafts we have done in all the sports.

Speaking of underrated primes. I feel like the Howard pick blew up in my face because people don't realize how good he was. I mean LeBron Kobe wade kg Duncan durant Dirk and howard I feel were a step above everybody else in this draft but ah well.

I love Dwight Howard the player. He has done great on my fantasy team past 3 seasons. Tops in rebounding, blocks, FG%, and points. 4 categories against 1 FT%. Once again I like your team EHB, nice draft.

The problem with Howard is that he never knew who he really was, imo. Orlando built an ok team around the concept that Howard was a Bill Russell type that could anchor a teams defense and all you would see is him working on his offensive game throughout the years. Now on the Rockets, he is in the playoffs and not guarding LA who is going off. Instead he is saving his energy to go in the post on the other end.

So we have late career Howard who is a good offensive player and an above average defensive player and we have early career Howard who is a great defensive player and an average offensive player and we have him whining the whole way.

The problem you have is that Bosh's stock and Rose's stock are really low right now. The same people who let Rose slip to you are also voting in these contests.

Voting will close tomorrow (Monday) at noon. In case of a tie score the winner will be decided by who ever had the higher ranking (lower of the score).

25 on Washington winning and 25 on the score being under 7.5.

All fair. I do think Howard was better than average offensively at his peak but that's nit really the point. I guess my entire was built on players who are not nearly as good as they once were.
