I'm going to be very careful with what I say here. I am in no way deflecting the problem. So, from what you're saying all white people killed by the police are acceptable because there isn't video of any of them being shot in the back? I honestly can't even comprehend how amazingly foolish that is. Twice as many whites killed by cops and every single one of them is lawful and acceptable. I guess I will say this again, the reason you don't see those things is because NOBODY GIVES A FUCK ABOUT WHITEY BEING SHOT!!!

What you really need to do is look at the situations regarding police interaction with the races. A very high percentage of cop and white folks interactions is done in the suburbs where the crimes rates are quite low. Now when you look at cops interactions with black folks that's not usually the case, cop interaction with black folks is usually in a very dangerous part of town where there are gangs and most of the population in these areas hate cops. Shit, when I lived in NYC I had black friends that wouldn't even go into some neighborhoods at night.

You have zero idea what it's like to do what cops do on a daily basis! Are there bad cops? Of course there is bad in every profession. I will post more in a bit.

I'm not saying it's okay at all... I'm saying that police are more aggressive when dealing with Black people... Of course White people are killed and I believe some of those were/are unjustified... That is why IMO there should be a review board of people who aren't connected to the police station and body cams... That will clear up most of all the of this IMO... My examples weren't to say that Whites aren't being killed nor that some aren't dying unnecessarily... They were examples of how common it is that these events take place and the manner in which they do against Black citizens... It causes outrage because they aren't balanced...

As for what cops do on a daily basis, I can't say I know exactly what they do... I can say that I've worked with them for several years and I know that they do some shit they shouldn't and try to clean it up through reports... Not all, but some... So IMO those who can't do the job, shouldn't apply like I did not...

Wow a bunch of videos just popped up that weren't there so... The first one, I read about a few years back... Apparently the kid was breaking into the guys car and he woke up went outside and the kid ran towards him and he warned the kid the kid kept coming and he shot him (if memory serves)... If memory also serves, the guy was arrested that night, went to trial and got off... I'm not sure what the point of posting this one was...

The second video... I saw both cases as well... Did you know one of the 3 kids who killed the baseball guy was White, yet that wasn't revealed at that time... It was reported as the 3 Black teens... The war vet was killed in a robbery if I'm. Not mistaken... All of these people were arrested though... Again you're posting things that have point when talking about police killing citizens...

Third video was a case about a kid who went to a known drug spot and was said to have been trying to buy drugs and tried to drive off when the cops tried to stop him... The cop was on the side of the car and the guy turned toward the same direction... IMO the cop was not in danger but he shot anyway... A lot closer to the discussion I'd agree...

The 4th video I know nothing at all about... I'd like to see the investigation and outcome though...

5th video is bullshit... Giving a guy with no training and no back up a gun, sending JJ Watt at him and asking him to make split second decisions is very weak... Why not give him years of training and back up and tasers and handful of other things unless you want him to come out with those results... What happens if he hit the guy with a taser then bangs on his leg with that metal bar the cops have... We don't know because that wasn't an option...

In all I'm sure your point is the media is the one to blame... That nobody cares about the White victims... Again I ask you, were all the non police Black suspects arrested...? Were most found guilty...? How about the White victims...? Were they're criminal records brought up...? Were their Facebook pictures where they may have been drunk and or high posted...? Were they called thugs...? Seems like they were being treated like humans who may or may not have been doing the right things at the time, but anything not related to the actual interaction that resulted in death is not be called into question.. The 3rd video has a picture of when he looks 13/14... I'm sure no outlet showed him as an adult and said look at this shit...

I'm not sure how else you would like to discuss this... If you don't see that a double standard exists you're not going to accept that things are happening based on race... But I ask you how many videos can you come up with that shows a guy who gets chased because of "eye contact" then captured, was clear of any wrong doing but was still arrested and died of a broken neck in the back of a van and nothing happens because of it... I saw the video on the other page but I can't repond right now because ive got to do some stuff... Apparently everyone is hungry and I need to get some ear drops before cvs closes...

When I was a teenager, my best friend's older brother was shot and killed by police. He was white. He was trying to break into his ex-girlfirend's home and police were called. He was high on something, not sure what, but completely unarmed. Police arrived at the scene and told him to stop and get on the ground. He turned and started walking toward the cops. They said "stop or I'll shoot". He didn't, and they put him down. The story was reported in the local paper with about 3 sentences that stuck to broad facts, simply stating his name and that he was killed while resisting arrest.

Bottom line, my friend's brother was wrong. He may have even been going for suicide by cop. This was probably worse than the Brown case in Ferguson, but the difference is how it was reported in the media.

I don't have a problem with reporting facts, but media intentionally stirs the pot with editorial commentary and inflammatory language. There was no need to state my friend's brother's race, why talk about Brown's?

The bottom line is that the more people try o make inequality in America about race, the longer these situations will persist. Poor, uneducated people are at an extreme disadvantage regardless of color. That is unlikely to ever change.

I just saw an article the other day and the headline read something like "BLM activist killed by white off duty police officer over Facebook squabble. Read the article and you see that the BLM activist had broke into the guy's house where his wife and kids were there hiding in an upstairs bedroom. Dude broke a window and climbed in the house and ignored the cop's warnings and came at him while he had a gun drawn and pointed at him.

I think both the media and the handful of bad cops are to blame in all this.

He was not breaking into the car, that was a complete lie, the fucking guy got away with shooting an unarmed white kid. The point it happens both ways, so since you remember reading about that one do you also remember seeing white people on the news burning the town down and robbing stores?

The three kids were not white, two were black, one was white. The point of the old guy part of that is nobody fucking knew about that cuz it was black on white crime going back to my original point nobody gives a fuck.

Kid went to a known drug area and was killed for being what high and scared, if that kid was black would you just dismiss it like oh well? Probably not you would have said the kid was shot just trying to get away!

What does training have to do with anything, do you think training would give the "officer" the ability to know whether or not the guy would have a gun or what his intentions are, the point is they are expected to make life and death decisions in a split second, no training can prepare you for that.

The 3rd video showed him at 13/14 you mean like with Treyvon? They made him look like a nice little kid when actually he was truthfully anything but, again in all of these cases of whites killed, regardless of it's by a police officer or a black man how many of these resulted in white folks burning the town down and destroying their own town?

I'm not sure why you keep asking me for videos, let me say this again. Nobody cares about whites being killed. This is all so much deeper than police shootings, It is very much a cultural thing but some just won't allow themselves to see that. It would be nice to see the black community actually step up and take some responsibility instead of just continuing to blame the problem on white racism

Finally we agree, there is a double standard, that black lives matter and there is only outrage when a black man is killed. You obviously didn't watch the last video that destroys nearly everything you are basing your opinions on.

Maybe so, but there will always be poor people regardless of who is running things. I am a teacher, so I see the same story every year. When starting their first day of Kindergarten, some kids are already reading in a 2nd grade level, while others with limited resources don't even know the alphabet. When you consider that the early reader has parents at home who continue to enrich their children during time away from school, how in the world is the non-privileged kid ever going to catch up?

The gap has nothing to do with race and everything to do with economic resources and parenting skills.
