You'd think, either Davy or Rizzo. I'd also rather they put Moore in the outfield, Lombo at 2nd and Espi on the bench if he's gotta stay up.

Yes Lombo at 2B is a must for right now. Good news is Werth should be back for the next series. Played 5 innings today and will play a full 9 tomorrow.

It is same thing I use when BJ Upton ever gets a hit, quite a rarity.

Haha well in Solano's defense, he only has 15 AB's this year, so that .133 average is a small smaple size.

Espi and H Rod can take Zach Duke with them as they get the hell off the team. Addition by subtraction. Nats are a better team without these scrubs.

One bright spot has been Erik Davis making his MLB debut. 1.2 scoreless innings including getting out of a 1st and 3rd - 1 out jam which Duke got into.

....and we're under .500. Got home series against the Mets and Twins this week, anything less than 4-2 record will be a major disappointment.

Wow, lots of news to come home to today. Espinosa is on the DL, and HRod and Duke cut. Like you said, Christmas!

The HRod thing is baffling. Could they not have sent him down to try and figure it out? I mean, they trusted him enough to pitch in extra innings of a big game in Atlanta, and now they don't think he has a place with the organization at all? I had come to that conclusion myself, but the drastic change of perception of him by the organization is a bit puzzling. Glad he's not our problem anymore, though.
