I recognize that this argument is ridiculous, as who knows what would have transpired if he had been called safe (different pitch selection, different plate approach by hitter, etc.). Just trying to make you feel better.
So many problems with that. 1) Chad, let him bunt you over 2) Stras, if you're going to be asked to bunt, lay the damn thing down 3) Davey, Stras can hit, let him swing away with 2 strikes. That's 2 baserunners cut down by a guy that can't get outs at the plate. Stupid.
I still don't think Stras really knows where his fastball is going. He had this same issue against the Cards, if I remember correctly. Just can't locate.
