The game wasnt as close as the score. tOSU should have won by 40,but they turned it over 4 times inside the Oregon 40.

Seriously though, Oregons style is a Fraud that will win all of these regular season games but will never win a championship.

This isn't true the offense is for real and as long as they have the skilled players they are going to put up points. What has haunted them in the past is depth and size on the defensive line and in many respects the secondary. In close games the defense ends up on the field for way too long and it takes a toll.

Remember you are spoiled with the recruiting classes that Saban produces and have 5 Stars all over the field even on special teams. Oregon makes it's living off of 3 and 4 stars not getting many shots at the 5 stars guys and in the close games superior athletes make a huge difference.

Give Oregon the talent and depth that Alabama has on defense and the results change quickly. I would also like to point several things out:

1. Auburn won a national championship with a HUNH offense.
2. Alabama is definitely moving in that direction to the point you completely ripped Auburn off the first offense series in the SEC Championship this year.
3. Even the pros are moving in this direction.

These offenses are here to stay for a while until defenses adjust and the next thing comes along.

I just don't get how there were 3,200 people on here at one time in 2012...and 300-ish people brought it down tonight?

Most likely it's a matter of how databases work. It's doubtful all 3200 people were posting as once. Lots of people were posting last night.

Writes use way more resources than reads. You can easily serve 1 million database reads, while like 1000 database writes can bring the database to a crawl. Especially if the database is one that uses table locking on writes rather than row locking(I'm guessing SportsHoopla uses row locking however).

But that's just a guess in the dark. I wouldn't have thought the posting last night was enough to bring things down, so something else may have happened.

When it happened, I thought maybe one of the people being an asshole last night got banned and tried to attack the site.
