We dominated the sport like only Notre Dame could do, even Michigan wasn't worthy compared to UMn, so much so, we STILL, after taking basically 50 years off, STILL we rank among the Top 20-30 programs of all time. Billingsley has us ranked #17 all-time, that was going into 2019.

Add another Top Ten finish for us.

And with a new stadium and a new Practice Facility/Student Village, all we needed was a top notch coach. Hello? P.J. Fleck anyone? lol
