Its not going to. 8 is dumb. FCS has more than 8 and ND State wins every year. It could be a 16 team field and it's still Bama vs Clemson in the final.

Alabama lost by 28 tonight. The last time the Crimson Tide got torched like that was the 1998 Music City Bowl when they lost 38-7 to Virginia Tech. Yes, it's been 20 years since UA has lost this bad.

To put this in perspective, Virginia Tech was part of the Big East. Also, the Big East had football.

Nick Saban was head coach at Michigan State, going 6-6 and missing out on Bowl season.

LOL, I wish we could have seen A&M play Lawrence, not Kelly Bryant. It's amazing how different Clemson is with the two QBs. With Kelly Bryant, they had one of the best rushing offenses, but played like the forward pass was illegal. And Clemson's defense plays far better under Lawrence, because they don't have to completely win the game and can play more loose.
