Warrick Dunn Averaged .5 yards more then Cook everytime he touched the ball and had 1 more TD on 60+ less touches.

But I do agree with you that there are too many to limit it to 3.

And Dunn, sure

I didn't realize his stats were better than Cook's. I thought Cook should've beat Henry out for the Heisman.

Hell...I'm not sure how you can pick just 3. So damn many to choose from.

I'll go with: Archie Griffin, Orlando Pace, and Chic Harley.

Could also consider: Zeke, Spielman, Vic Janowicz, Howard Cassady, Joey Bosa, Troy Smith, Mike Vrabel, Les Horvath, Eddie Georgie...the list goes on and on. JT also from sheer production numbers alone

For Oklahoma its an impossible task. Most people consider Lee Roy Selmon the greatest Sooner ever but after that theres so many you can easily mix and match.

You have Jimmie Harris who as quarterback won 2 titles and never lost a game. Billy Vessels was the best running back of his time and so was Steve Owens.

Sam Bradford, Adrian Peterson, Baker Mayfield, and Tommy Harris where probably the best of the Stoops era.

Then you have guys like Tony Cassilas and Brian Bosworth. And what about Troy Aikman and Jamelle Holieway?

This Athlons list is probably closest to being right but again its very subjective.

I didn't forget them. Hirsch only had 1 year at Wisconsin, also. But I would say his pro career is better than Wilson's. JJ Watt has a good argument but I went with the 3 I did.

HM: Maurice Clarett - If he had his head screwed on right, we'd be talking about one of the greatest RBs of all-time. As a freshman, he was a man among boys.

That’s the problem, man. There’s so many greats that’s it’s almost impossible to choose. In terms of efficiency Mayfield was better for sure. I also can’t say I can think of multiple games where Sam put the team on his back for the win like Mayfield did.

From my High School.............South Portland High School, South Portland, ME

1. Jim Beattie (Pitcher, NY Yankees, GM of Seattle and Baltimore)(Also my wife's Class VP, she was the Prez)
2. Brett Brown (Head Coach Philadelphia 76ers)
3. Billy Swift (Pitcher Seattle Mariners)

Really odd that two baseball players came from an area where baseball can only be played from late April until early October.

Too many to pick from but I would go with these three as my personal picks. I have Heisman winners I left out which would be automatics at most schools. Jr Seau RIP

...and to other Ohio St fans. If Iwas an OSU fan, the name at the top of list would be Jack Tatum. Back then, about the only CFB games you could watch on tv was what abc would broadcast, so when they would have OSU game, I made damn sure to watch. He was a hell of a force. And he carried that on with the Raiders. Jack Tatum would certainly be on my list.

I really wanted to put him on the list as well. I'm also a Raiders fan so wasn't sure if I was just feeling bias lol. Glad to see my feelings we're justified
