Since the NBA Playoffs are here, It always makes me look back at the all the series and games I watched throughout my childhood and adulthood. I'll offer a few, feel free to offer yours:
1. The Dominique Wilkins vs. Larry Bird duel in Game 7 of the 1988 2nd round: Truth be told, my favorite player of all time is Dominique, and this was his best shot to break through the Celtic Barrier. Game 7 was in Boston, and the 4th Quarter was legendary as Nique and Bird literally went back and forth trading "can you top this" baskets in the 4th quarter. It was answer after answer after answer. While Bird wasn't much the first 3 quarters, he scored 20 in the 4th, Nique had 47 that night, Bird 33. They show this game here and there on ESPN classic. Boston won, and the Nique Hawks never knocked on the door again.

2. Reggie Miller 8 points in 9 seconds to beat the Knicks. This was all the rage recently due to this Pacers run, but Reggie did it before the 3 point era. It was completely insane for a player to retreat and run behind the 3 point line to shoot another 3. All of those Knicks Pacers series with the Miller vs. Spike Lee issues were great.

I have more, but what do you guys have.
@tlance .. what you got

Derek Harper dribbling out the clock against the Lakers that he thought the Mavs were up one when it was actually tied. Mavs lost in OT.....
Magic Johnson scoring 42 against Philly playing center his rookie season...
The Mavs going on a 15-3 run in the last 4 minutes of game 5 against the Heat in the Finals...
MJ scoring 63 in a double OT game for the Bulls that the Celtics still pulled out

Magic's "junior, junior skyhook" to beat the Celtics.

McHale clothesline of Rambis which changed the momentum of the series.

Kobe to Shaq for a monster dunk to finish off the comeback vs. the Blazers that led to their 1st title.

Someone already mentioned Magic playing all 5 positions vs. the Sixers when Kareem was out with a sprained ankle.

The "one lucky shot deserves another" game when Duncan and D-Fish hit shots in the last couple of seconds (Fishers was at 0.04 lol).

Some non-Lakers memories...

Suns vs. Celtics in 1976...triple overtime game and Garfield Heard hitting "the shot Heard around the world" to send the game to the 3rd overtime.

Suns vs. Bulls triple overtime that was the Barkly, KJ and Majerle Suns team.

MJ's "push off" vs. the Jazz to seal that one.

No rookie has made a bigger shot

That's an all-timer as far as charisma.. Shaq's face was legendary. The only other time he made that face was after seeing Vince Carter's first dunk in the 2000 dunk contest
MJ's "push off" vs. the Jazz to seal that one.
I'm split. I like for players to decide games, but the arm was clearly extended. Also, it is just a testament to the weakness of the SG throughout the 90's decade that Bryan Russell was the guy to guard mike.

I'll have to look that one up... it sounds like JR Smith's blunder on the Cavs when he thought we (I'm a Cavs fan) were up yet we were tied. It became a meme
Magic Johnson scoring 42 against Philly playing center his rookie season...
Greatest rookie performance in NBA history

I loved that Mavs team. I was a huge Dirk fan, and Jason Kidd's input, Jason Terry, Shawn Marion, Caron Butler... people forget former MVP candidate Peja Stojakavic was on that team too. Eric Dampier clogged up the middle. That wasn't as much of an upset as people make it out to be, but I loved that dirk got a ring.

Amazing game by MJ, but MJ fans always forget that he lost the game, and that his bulls were dominated and routinely swept in his early career.

One of the funnier ones was the 1993 finals.

Bulls fans had rioted after winning the title the previous year and the Suns were facing elimination...

So Barkley writes "Save the City" on the dry erase board in the Suns locker room. lol

Barkely has so many good one-liners, but my favorite is second to none:

Dream Team, the USA goes to Barcelona. The hype is insane, their first game is against Angola. Barkley is sitting in the locker room answering questions, and an oblivious eurpoean reporter asks how Barkley feels about the first opponent being Angola. Barkley replies: "I don't know where Angola is, but they're in trouble"

Man I think it was 88, Mavs were down 2-1 to the Lakers but had a great chance to even the series, but Harper, who had a great game to that point, got the ball at the top of the key and dribbled it down to like 5 seconds and started celebrating as the clock ran out. It was killer. The Mavs would have won both at home to knot the series, instead they went to LA down 3-1 and you could just tell the wind was out of their sails. They had a shot

Without looking, was Fat Lever and/or Rolando Blackman on those teams?

88 was my earliest memories of NBA basketball

It was actually 84 Harper dribbled it out. Those teams were carried by Aguirre, Blackman and Harper. 88 the Mavs actually took the Lakers to 7, the Mavs had added Perkins, Schrempf, Donaldson and Tarpley, but the Lakers still had too much

I'll name a few more:

1. MJ's 6 3-pointers against the Blazers (the Shrug)
2. John Paxon Knifes the Suns in the Bulls vs. Suns Game 6
3. Nick Anderson misses 4 straight FT's to cause the loss of game 1 in the Magic vs. Rockets series.. brutal
4. The 1999 Knicks run with Allen Houston and Latrell Sprewell, losing to the Robinson/Ellitot Spurs
5. Derek Fishers game winner over (I think San Antonio) with 0.4 seconds left.
6. Lebrons "crab dribble" game winner over Washington in the mid 2000's
7. Lebron scoring 25 points in a row to take down the Billups/Wallace/Hamilton pistons
8. Lebron's game winning fall away 3 against Orlando at the buzzer to keep Clevealnd alive. This was the year the NBA had a Kobe vs. Lebron finals lined up. Orlando upset the 66 win Cavs because they refused to miss 3's (like the Pacers this year)
9. Robert Horry as "big shot Rob" killing teams on Houston

I'll never forget game 6 Heat down 3-2 at Boston in 2012 ECF, LeBron had a look on his face like 'I am going to single handedly kick Boston's ass on their home court' and then he did just that, 30 points in the first half, finished with 45 points and 15 boards (single handedly handling that too)

He forced game 7 and won that too
