Sir Robin Of Camelot

You seem angry. Miserable, even.

He blows. This is his agent trying to pull a jedi mind trick with the rest of the league.

"Hmmm. That's a pretty strong statement from N'Keal's agent. Maybe he is pretty good. We should take a look at him."
That was my take. The agent is making a whole bunch of noise for a guy who honestly hasn’t shown much.

Whoever it was they didn't play him right in college then.
They played him fine, most are in the NFL. He was a great college WR. Maybe certain systems don’t work well with him. Wasn’t Brady’s only legit receiver Moss in NE?

We continue to see a basic fact manifest itself in the NFL: receivers without exceptional speed or quickness can't separate at this level and won't be successful. You need one of the two.

There will always be a few exceptions, but by and large, you better be fast or really quick off the line in the NFL.

This guy, like JJ Arcega Whiteside in Philly, dominated PAC 12 college competition with physical play. But in the NFL corners are stronger, contested catches are harder, and his inability to separate means he has no shot of ever being more than a #3 wideout. He can maybe make it as a bigger slot, that's it.

Shhhh! We're not going to get anything for him if you keep that up!

I am honestly surprised the Pats drafted this guy, as they seem to have been one of the teams that really understood this basic idea, at least the quickness part of it.

Cardinals, Saints, Texans, Bears and Eagles have all inquired. BB is listening and nothing so far has made him move from his laid back position in his lounger.

you need either speed or quickness. They are different skills. Edelman isn’t fast but he’s quick.

Coming out of college Harry was by far more accomplished than Metcalf. Metcalf was considered more of a project bc of his exceptional raw talent. It’s easy to see why Metcalf is by far the better PRO player. Harry was good against other college athletes but at the pro level he just doesn’t have the skill set

heres 2 reports after the draft

i
31. D.K. Metcalf, WR, Mississippi, 6-3⅜, 228 (4.33)

Drafted No. 64 by the Seattle Seahawks

Metcalf is a physically imposing player who can run away from overwhelmed defenders, averaging 21.9 yards per catch last season. But he has had neck and foot injuries in his career. It's also difficult to watch his game video without wondering why he averaged only 3.2 receptions per game over his career.

hes a beast is why hes so good

i
39. N'Keal Harry, WR, Arizona State, 6-2⅜, 228 (4.53)

Drafted No. 32 by the New England Patriots

The critics say Harry "doesn't always get separation,'' which is true, but it's also true for most receivers from time to time. Harry competes for the ball, knows how to shield defenders and runs quality routes.

was he ever given a chance brady didnt get on same page as him (24 targets in 7 games) and cam can make any WR look bad with his dirt balls
draft is crapshoot or jerry rice would have been drafted #1 wr in 1985 instead al toon was :suds:

A couple of Patriot scouts advised Bill to stay away from Harry, and grab either Metcalf or Brown, but Bill is Bill. He listens more to his coaching friends like Saban, Meyer, Chip Kelly and Greg Schiano
