Most ball boys are young football players themselves. If the Pats had been doing this for years (as some have speculated) I'd expect to hear from a few of this former ball boys before this is all said and done. At least one has to be in the league by now. He's been around for so long.

....$onny tracked them ALL down.....and made 'em an offer they could'nt refu$e.....!

This doesn't prove anything. You do get that right?

His going into that bathroom might have been to take a quick piss, but it's more than enough time to quickly hit 12 balls with a needle. Dump a bag out on the ground and spend maybe 3-4 seconds deflating each ball and place them back in the game.

Not saying that's what happened, just saying the conclusion drawn from that article is a pretty poor job of trying to look like journalism.

As for his even having the right to take a piss with all those balls... There are a great many industries where you wouldn't be able to get away with taking a chain of custody item(s) into a bathroom without being fired or jailed. I work in the casino industry. If any employee tried taking something they had as a form of chain of custody off camera they'd be fired on the spot. If we care enough about these to have them fully inspected prior to each game then it is reasonable to expect they are carried directly from the officials room to the field and not taken off camera. You can bet that will be the rule moving forward. Might even want to put a ref with the attendant at all times.

If you believe the Pats are guilty of doing this on purpose (Which I fully am at least leaning toward) then one thing is for sure, the only deflated balls Brady will be throwing around from here on out are the ones the lucky bastard gets to empty into Gisele.

I'm a director of security and anyone taking anything into a restroom sets off MANY warning signs. I can't place cameras in restrooms or locker rooms. I would imagine the Pats facility is like a casino in the aspect that everything is on video except areas where it's prevented by law. The lockers were broken into so many times I had them placed in a hallway across from changing rooms so I could keep the lockers under watch.

90 seconds still seems like pushing it but it's certainly a possibility

He had 90 seconds to unpack the ball, deflate and repack them. It certainly doesn't prove he deflated them.

90 seconds is not a lot of time. Try taking a whizz sometime. See how long that takes.. It's makes more sense he was doing that as much as anything nefarious.

Who told Glazer about this? There's your gun there.

If the assumption being made that this is a pattern of abuse is true, then practice would make it rather easy to do this in 90 seconds. They would presumably have lots of practice at it. The length of time needed would only be dependent on the width of the needle or other device placed into the valve. I can't imagine each ball taking more than 3-4 seconds to pull that much air out of with the right device.

You been watching too many Oceans 11, 12 and 13 movies. It's a big stretch at best.

The point was nothing is proven either way simply because it's 90 seconds. It is clearly enough time for something to happen. Never said that was proof, just poor journalism for that article to say it's a smoking gun against anything happening to the point where he laughed about it.

How long does it take to dump a bag of balls out on the floor? 3-5 seconds? Deflate one at a time maybe 3-4? Put the ball in the bag and grab another off the floor? Another couple of seconds each? I could easily do that in 90 seconds and I'm old.

As for how long it takes to go pee? Well that I might find hard to finish in 90 seconds at my age lol. :L :pout:

You did get the part where I work in casinos right? :L

I was the director of surveillance operations for more than 10 years and putting investigations together was a big part of my job. I don't need to see a movie to understand these things, I lived it. Saw all sorts of scams and moves to steal. Both from customers, and more often, employees. You'd be surprised what people can do in a very small window of opportunity. Truly mind blowing.

So yes, I approach this like any other investigation I did over the years. Both going to the bathroom AND tampering are POSSIBLE here.

Wizard hawk, weren't we in agreement that both of our teams get the most hate a couple of weeks ago? And you and Harold ( 2 posters I respected) are now joining the lynch mob. What's your motive for this ?

What? The Seahawks don't really get hate (unless you are talking about specific rivals). Why would they?

Welcome back Money. Where's Craven and the rest? You need some backup.....

Cravn and Tgann got themselves banned (in 2012 I believe). I'm pretty sure they were trolling the Falcons' board with the whole Flacco/Ryan debate.

They were otherwise good posters I thought. I was not paying attention to the Atlanta thing....
Have they asked to come back?????
