Not too surprised by this. Think both teams are similar, but would have given St Joe's a slight edge. Either way would be a nice win if Wake can get it.

I caught about the last 30 minutes or so, and Wake does look bad at this point on defense. It's crazy because Wake has really good athletes.

I just saw a tweet that perfectly sums up my thoughts about Wake basketball:


You can chalk up some of the bad defensive possessions on youth, but this is horrid. and it's been this way for five years now. It's really looking like Coach Manning can't teach defense to the kids that he's recruited into the program.

If things don't improve by the end of the year, it's time to make a change. Wes Miller or Pat Kelsey would be perfect.
