And I'd put my money on the Bengals. I'm not using any media as a credible source. Just the wins and the facts. We have a better record, more impressive team stats. You are using ESPN who you just said gives the Bengals no love, a ranking that has the NYG at #4 which is insanity, and a ranking that has the Jets, Bears, Chargers, and Eagles ahead of us. Those aren't credible.

I didn't use them for anything except to show you others feel that Atlanta is better right now. I'm not a damn professional, so there's no reason to get bent out of shape because of it. If we beat somebody worth crap, I'll rank us higher. For now, we barely beat Seattle and gave Tavarius jackson 300 yards passing in a game he didn't even start.

IDk. I'm not the only one that disagrees either. Turk Schonert on the footballpros board thinks we should be ahead of the Giants and the Texans at #7 on Clems top 10. Atlanta isn't in his top 10 either.

Meh, its debatable. I have no problem if people want to rank them higher. I just want to see results against a better team first. Marvin would fuck us against a good team, trying to win 17-10..

We beat the Bills who are one of the top 5 or so best teams in the NFL this year. People seem to forget we have beat a good team.

The Falcons are playing better as of late. I'm not going into who beat who weeks ago, and then who that team beat. That's too complicated. Right now, I don't think we'd beat Atlanta, so they're ahead of us.

What is your reasoning for putting Pit over SF?

SF has beaten Cle, Det, Cin, Phi and TB (I hardly count Sea) and only lost to Dal (in OT).

Pit has beaten Ten and NE (can't really count Arz, Sea, Ind or Jax) and lost to Bal (35-7) and Hou.

They're basically interchangeable, but Pittsburgh is playing well, and I think they'd beat SF right now. I still don't trust Alex Smith. I LOVE SF's defense though.

Seems I'm not the only one who feels this way.

Wow, Billick has us sliding a slot in his poll after beating the Seahawks by 22 points in Seattle. That is insane I am sorry. Aty least let us hold our position or move up 1 or 2.

I think the problem is, the only teams that were ranked in front of us last week that lost were the Patriots, Saints, and Chargers. The Pats and Saints definitely aren't going to fall behind us, and considering he had the Chargers at 7th which I find ridiculous, I guess he couldn't drop them enough to push them behind us. Though I do believe we're better than them and should be ranked ahead of them.

And the Eagles are beginning to look more like last season's team, so I can't fault him for their jump ahead of us this week from behind.

Finally, no real reason we should take a jump on any of the other teams that were already ahead of us that also won. So, I really can't fault Billick for what he did.

That was basically the same reasoning I had for keeping the Giants and Falcons ahead of us this week.
