Only Week 5 game is Stanford at Washington which is a Friday game on 9/30. Saturday games are in October.

My Top 10

1. Ohio State at Oklahoma - (Week 3 - Sat 9/17) - IMO, this is the biggest OOC game and possibly the biggest game of the season. It is the only one in September that will have a major impact in CFP. I predict both of these teams to win their conference and make the CFP. Oklahoma is my preseason favorite to win the NCG.

2. Alabama vs USC - (Week 1 - Sat 9/3 - @ Jerry World) - If USC is the best in the Pac 12, it could be as meaningful as the Ohio State game in Norman. I like that it is the only true neutral game among top teams in the month of September.

3. LSU at Wisconsin - (Week 1 - Sat 9/3 - @ Lambeau Field) - How much will home field advantage affect LSU? Can Wisconsin slow down Fournette? Will Corey Clement shine? How good is either team? It is not a stretch to say either team can win their division and possibly their conferences.

4. Michigan State at Notre Dame - (Week 3 - 9/17) - Both teams had an amazing season last year and both didn't look too good in their bowl games. This is one of those games that will be a big win for the winner, but a costly loss for the loser.

5. USC at Stanford - (Week 3 - 9/17) - These two won their divisions last season and could likely face each other again this season. According to the preseason Coaches Poll, both of these teams are the highest rank in their division.

6. North Carolina at Georgia - (Week 1 - Sat 9/3 - @ Georgia Stadium) - This might be an odd one for a top 10 game, but it is a great RB game.

7. Stanford at UCLA - (Week 4 - 9/24) - Like the USC/Stanford game, this could likely be a preview of the CCG. UCLA is the 2nd highest ranked in their division and they are returning a very talented Rosen at QB.

8. Wisconsin at Michigan State - (Week 4 - 9/24) - This is easily the biggest B1G conference game in September. It is also a crossover game that could be big for the West Division. If both enters the game 3-0, both teams will have a quality win with LSU and Notre Dame.

9. Oklahoma State at Baylor - (Week 4 - 9/24) - This will be Baylor's first real test. They should be 3-0 heading into the game, which Oklahoma State might not be.

10. Ole Miss at Florida State - (Week 1 - Mon 9/5 - @ Citrus Bowl) - Florida State is possibly expected to be 2nd best in conference to Clemson. Ole Miss has recently been a team that looks great at first but falls off.

11. UCLA at Texas A&M - (Week 1 - Sat 9/3)
12. Florida at Tennessee - (Week 4 - Sat 9/24)
13. Georgia at Ole Miss - (Week 4 - Sat 9/24)
14. Clemson at Auburn - (Week 1 - Sat 9/3)
15. Notre Dame at Texas - (Week 1 - Sun 9/4)
16. Oklahoma at Houston - (Week 1 - Sat 9/3 - @ NRG Stadium)
17. Stanford at Washington - (Week 5 - Sat 9/30)
18. Mississippi State at LSU - (Week 3 - Sat 9/17)
19. USC at Utah - Week 4 - (Week 4 - Fri 9/23)
20. LSU at Auburn - (Week 4 - Sat 9/24)
21. Pittsburgh at North Carolina - (Week 4 - Sat 9/24)
22. Texas A&M at Auburn - (Week 3 - Sat 9/17)
23. Nebraska at Northwestern - (Week 4 - Sat 9/24)
24. North Carolina at Illinois - (Week 2 - Sat 9/10)
25. Houston at Cincinnati - (Week 3 - Thu 9/15)
26. Pittsburgh at Oklahoma State - (Week 3 - Sat 9/17)
27. Tennessee at Arizona State - (Week 2 - Sat 9/10)
28. Penn State at Michigan - (Week 4 - Sat 9/24)
29. UCLA at BYU - (Week 3 - Sat 9/17)
30. Duke at Notre Dame - (Week 4 - 9/24)
31. Texas at California - (Week 3 - Sat 9/17)
32. Arkansas at TCU - (Week 2 - Sat 9/3)
33. Virginia Tech at Tennessee - (Week 2 - Sat 9/10 - @ Bristol Motor Speedway)
34. BYU at Utah - (Week 2 - Sat 9/10)
35. Florida State at Louisville - (Week 3 - Sat 9/17)
36. Clemson at Georgia Tech - (Week 4 - Thu 9/22)
37. BYU at Arizona - (Week 1 - Sat 9/3) - I love how ESPN schedule says Arizona vs BYU and location is at University of Arizona
38. Kansas State at Stanford - (Week 1 - Fri 9/2)
39. Penn State at Pittsburgh - (Week 2 - Sat 9/10)
40. South Carolina at Mississippi State (Week 2 - Sat 9/10)

LSU vs Wisconsin is extremely high. 4, 5, and 10 are much bigger games to me personally. Honestly Ole Miss vs Florida State should be second on any list. A test to see how good FSU is this season, we know Ole Miss will be pretty good.

I disagree the Ohio St @ Oklahoma game will have a large impact on the CFP. It's the 1st game of the year so there is plenty of time for someone to recover, provided they win out.

It's larger impact could be on which conferences make it to the playoffs.

The BYU-Arizona game is at the Cardinals stadium in Glendale. Maybe you know that but your comment confused me.

Agree to an extent, but the loser of that game must then pretty much win out. So it will have some impact. Regardless on the impact it is the most interesting regular season game this season.

It's going to be an awesome game.

Small correction though - it's not the 1st game of the year. I keep thinking it is for some reason but it's not week 1, it's week 3.

I like that better. Let both teams get the kinks out and be able to run wide open come week three. No first week excuse.

I missed the Oregon at Nebraska. That does deserve to be on here.
WSU at BSU would be low on the list. I'm still not that sold on Washington State.

Are you going to be doing the score predictions this season?

I will try. I work over 50 hours now. I'm told that hours will go down as winter comes. With Sundays off, I should be able to do it.

1st one will be when AP Poll comes out.

Crazy to think that Nebraska is favored in that game.

Not sold on a team that went 9-4 and looks to have at least a winning season but have Texas @ Cal and games featuring 3-9 Georgia Tech, 3-9 South Carolina, 5-7 Illinois??

There will be at least 2 or 3 games not on this list that end up in the top 20 or so most important. You can't really judge the relevance of a game til you know who wins. For e;ample a Houston win o'o'er Oklahoma is a much bigger impact on the ason than if OU wins that game. There will be a few results that are hugely important only because a favorite loses

Although I agree with your logic on no. 9,.Baylor SMU might be interesting. There is a definite talent gap, but coaching went from intriguing to one sided. Plus, although top 11 each side isn't a question, Baylor is under 70.scholarship players now so they have serious depth issues. Also it's impossible to get into the mind of that team-is it us against the world, or are they just going through the motions?

If that one goes the wrong way and we bring the warhammer to tarp state, the rapist school is in for a long one.

Good Gawd man. Did you just have a seizure? :wtf:

I have glaucoma so if I don't take the time to check my spelling my posts can be a little weird lol. Perils of being nearly blind
