I thought I would share this story with everyone even though the Mariners are pretty irrelevant this time of year. We unveiled the first statue at Safeco Field the other night with long time broadcaster Dave Niehaus and it was a big success and great day for all. The team also won the game which was fitting. You can see in one of the pictures the railings around the statue have some of his catch phrases, one of my favorites being "Get out the rye bread and mustard, Grandma. It's grand salami time."
