I think while he was at Florida, it was obvious he was good enough to win there, and he proved it, but he also saw just how trashy the fan base, the town, the state and his own players that were coming there were and looked for a way out, so he made up the heart condition, took a year off to make it look real and the ended up in greener pastures at Ohio State instead of being at some shit hole location at a stepping stone job.

At OSU, he left because he legit wanted to take some time off.
