I think Kendall Wright or Stephen Hill both Split Ends are better fits, Green and Floyd are Flankers :usa2:

That would be a good first round for the Bengals, but I sincerely hope Richardson goes elsewhere, where we don't have to face him twice a year......

We need a big possession WR. Someone who can go over the middle and make the touch catches. Floyd fits that way better than Wright IMO.

So who says Wright can't go over the middle? He has to be a monster to go over the middle?

Wright only had 108 catches and nearly 1700 yards with RGIII, I think he can probably go over the middle and make a catch, because I doubt all 108 catches were on the outside.

I would prefer Kendall Wright.

PS..I can definitely see this Mock Draft happening, because we lost all the top players before our 17th pick. Leaving us with little to choose from with the 17th pick.

Kuechly, Gilmore, Barron, DeCastro.

Wondering if Hightower shouldn't be one of our picks in the 1st.

We need a guard too, so Glenn is a nice addition.

We do need a WR also, but wondering if any decent vet WR get cut on June 1st cuts.

I think we should go in so many different directions, oh well, I will wait to see who we draft, and just get behind each pick since theya re Cincinnati Bengals regardless of how much everyone thinks a certain pick was a mistake.

Lol when did I ever say Wright couldn't ever go over the middle? But he isn't a Big, strong, prototypical possession WR like Floyd is built and shown to be. Floyd can take more of a beating over the middle that Wright can because of his body type. And another thing Wright did do that with RGIII in a high powered passing attack, who did Floyd have throwing to him?

Floyd will be gone because he is seen as a #1 WR in the NFL.

Floyd will be gone, so it's a moot point.

Ok, first Blackmon is the #1 WR in this draft class. And 2nd, where is he going to go? He's not going top 10 and none of the teams between 11 and 16 needs WR's. Kansas City (11th) has Dwayne Bowe and just spent a 1st Round pick last season on Jon Baldwin. Seattle (12th) signed Sidney Rice to a five-year, $43 million contract and struck gold with rookie Free Agent Doug Baldwin who was 4th among rookies with 788 yds receiving. Arizona (13th) has Larry Fitzgerald. Dallas (14th) has Dez Bryant and Miles Austin. Philadelphia (15) has Jeremy Maclin and DeSean Jackson. The Jets, a run first team, could select a WR with Plaxico Burress un-signed but they have far more pressing needs on the O-line and pass rush. So where does the leave Floyd? I feel he will be available when the Bengals make their selection with the 17th pick and considering the teams lack of activity in the Free Agency market at the position the Bengals will most likely address the need in the draft.

Ok? Robinson is a 1 year wonder and is still the only WR they have worth a crap.

LOL @ Laurent Robinson. He's a #2 at best. Floyd is a legitimate #1. If the Jaguars wouldn't draft Floyd because they have Roberson, why in the hell would the Bengals draft him since they have Green?

I never said you said he couldn't. However, Wright appears to be a bigger playmaker and with his acceleration and hands, he would make an awesome compliment to Green with Shipley in the slot.

I am thinking the same thing.....he was a star on the best defense in college football history, surely he can play better than Maualuga......

Jacksonville may have not only more needs but more pressing needs.
