Haha Clinton-Dix will be gone long before the 26th pick. It'd be more likely he's the pick at 13 than 26. Maybe CJ Mosley will be there at the 26 pick in that scenario. I would be quite pleased with that.

Also, I think the Vikings are also a team to watch as far as a trade down goes.

Browns vs Vikings would again come down to whether you want multiple firsts now, or to stretch them out over more than 1 draft. I would think the Browns might be the more aggressive trade partner, given that they lost out to the Redskins last time, in much the same scenario (although with lesser QB talent to target).

Who knows who would even be making these decisions though given the coaching changes they are making. I have no clue what they are doing with the front offices either so for now its just a waiting game. Hopefully Snead can start a bidding war.

I establish this as though the Rams and Browns trade picks #2 to #4 + #23 or so + a 3rd. There could be any number of trade partners, Vikings, Jaguars etc endless but for right now, I throw this out as my draft for the moment.
1st Round
#4 Anthony Barr OLB UCLA or Sammy Wathkins WR Clemson
#13 Cyrus Kouandjio OT Alabama or Cameron Erving OT Florida St
#23 Ifo Ekpre-Olomo CB Oregon or David Yankey OG Stanford
2nd Round
#44 Kelvin Benjamin WR Florida St or Ka'Deem Carey RB Arizona
3rd Round
#66 Ahmad Dixon SS Baylor or Louchier Purifoy CB Florida
#75 David Foles QB San Jose St or Dion Bailey FS USC
4th Round
#106 Dee Ford OLB Auburn or Terrence Brooks FS Florida St
5th Round
#147 Jaylen Watkins CB Florida or Wesley johnson OT Vanderbilt
6th Round
#172 Braxton Miller QB Ohio St or Gabe Ikard C Oklahoma
7th Round
#203 Jonathan Brown OLB Illinois or Deandre Coleman DT California

Like I said lots of angles now through the bowl games, combine leading up to the draft and a lot dependant on coaching and GM changes. This was my first try at the draft.

I really like it. i like Mack and think he will be top 5 when the combine comes along. and if we had pick 26 i wouldn't mind giving up some late picks to move up to grab HaHa

You would probably have to take Mack at 4, then you will still get a good tackle at 13 in this deep class. then trade up from 26 to land HaHa like we did to grab Stacey.

Mack replaces Dunbar who is a FA. he looks to be bigger and faster then Ogletree. Who wouldn't want two of those beast flying around.

The tackle would replace Saffold who most likely will be gone to FA at a much cheaper price.

HaHa and TJ Don't really have to say anything here.

then I would look at a mauling guard like Gabe Jackson in the 2nd

I think we might be panicking a bit with the must have Tackle in the first rd. Long should be back and Barksdale is holding his own. the Interior line seems to be the weakest. looks like a weak draft for centers maybe look for one in FA.

4. Kalil Mack OLB Buffalo
10. Darqueze Dennard CB Michigan St. Rams give up their 6th rd pick to move to 10.
18. HaHa Dix S Bama Rams us the Browns 3rd RD pick to move up from 26.
2nd Gabe Jackson G Miss St. should be day 1 starter at either guard pos.
3rd Lache Seastrunk RB Baylor Stacie is good but our depth is thin if he goes down.
4th Seantrel Henderson OT Miami
5th Beau Allen DT Wisconsin
7th BPA
I think if you can get four good impact starters in a draft thats pretty good. there is at least 4 here

I honestly think that if we can get Matthews, great. But there are 5 or 6 OT in rounds 3-4 that are just as good imo as Kouandjio,Lewan,Robinson or Erving. This is going to be SO MUCH FUN

I tried out the no OT in the 1st round theory on fanspeak and this is what I came up with. I would have ZERO issue if our draft came out like this...except I would try to grab a QB late.

I wouldn't mind an OT in the first, but not in the top ten. Mathews is getting no talk about being picked first, and only picked second because the Rams won't draft a QB and the other top players and defensive rushers (Barr and Clownly - which the 4-3 Rams who have two good ends don't need). I think I would be very okay taking one of the other few OTs a little later in the draft.

Would have to grab Lewa before the Falcons do, we need an OL just as bad as a DL. This is going to be a fun draft for my Rams and Falcons!

My idea of a perfect draft... Would be to have all the rams picks in the upcoming year...

Even though I remain a fan and supporter of Griff, i am Still envious of y'all right now. At least our picks go to a team I don't hate. Hope you choose wisely, at least you don't have to worry about an owner who just can't seem to help himself.

Because of the Griff trade, I can't help but be interested at the choices the Rams make with the picks, even though the circumstances, needs and teams are different. Sort of impossible not too.

Good luck in the draft. Would love to see the Rams and/or Cardinals win the NFC west soon.
