Yeah I saw this earlier, I just wonder what it would take to move up 3 spots, hopefully nothing more than a 4th.

wouldn't matter. I want more picks in this draft not less LOL an extra 2nd or 3rd in this particular draft would go along way towards fixing the Cowboys if used properly.

The main thing that threw me off on this was. Clinton-Dix is my #1 and Donald is my #2 (of guys possible at 16) so I wouldn't want to give up a pick when I could still land the other.

I wouldnt mind giving up a 4th, when is the last time this team has hit on a 4 th? I read somewhere that we are the only team in the league who doesn't have a 4-6th rounder starting. Good thing we hit on a few undrafted players.

That's because we start pissing in the wind in the 4th taking fliers on guys (sometimes in the 3rd) rather than drafting solid players for depth........ and it's what has led to depth killing us

Not for a player you covet moving up only 3 spots.

Will be too short7on value. Do you think STL will make the trade out of the kindness of their hearts?

Why not remember this draft is so "deep"

Gotta remember the team wanting/needing the trade takes it in the shorts.

Try telling Jerry that, the 49ers sure made out like bandits last year

After Vacaro went SF desire to trade up diminished while Dallas desire to trade back grew as all the OLmen went off the board. Yes Dallas desired the trade back more than SF wanted to move up.

dont think so ... we got Williams and Frederick

Who cares where they were predicted to go .... We got two rookie starters

might have looked dumb when it was done .... but hell ( lucky for us) it worked out to be one of the greatest trades we could have made.

Regardless the team that trades back should always get the big end of the stick. You can't tell me the Cowboys shouldn't have gotten the 49ers 2nd rd pick. As I stated before, luckily it all worked out in the end.....

So if SF calls of the trade because their guy is gone but Jerry still wants to deal you think SF will take it in the shorts to help Dallas?

Word is the Cowboys would have never traded back if Vacarro was on the board, so trading with the 49ers would never been an option. Therefore your theory of the 49ers man to move up being gone is invalid.

half and half correct ...

Vacarro was our guy we wanted .... when he was gone the trade down became the option

Was other offers on the table but we wanted on Vacarro and AFTER he was gone the best offer on the table was what the 9ers offered.

If we traded earlier we would have gained points... last minute we lost points ....

shit happens when you want that ONE GUY

and once again Luckily it worked out for us
