I'll be homerish too and would put Derrick Johnson over Te'o. DJ won several of those awards and was much more dominating in college than Te'o was, not to mention, DJ is also one of the top 3 LB"s in the NFL.
I'll 1- up you and say he left off the only 2 time Bednarik winner but then who really cares? It's an opinion but someone always cries in these type threads.

USC had a couple that I had on the first time through, but when I went through the draft a few more times (I went from 1999-2014 three times), I replaced players like Polamalu and Matthews.

Guards were a tough one to find. Those might be the only 2 drafted 1st round. Then the tackles were a tough one to decide, there were a ton of them in the top 10. Centers were just hard to find. Not really drafted that high. Punters were the hardest.

nice list.

speaking of guards: I remember the first time I saw Leonard Davis up close. His helmet, I kid you not, was the biggest helmet I've ever seen. You could put two or three normal sized heads in that thing. Good Lord, he was a large man.

His combine numbers were actually better than Clowney's. Clowney was .2 faster in the 40 yard dash, but Pollock did more bench reps and crushed Clowney in the lateral speed tests. They were pretty identical on the jumps.

Don't let the ESPN hyperbole and racial stereotypes fool you.

He is was like 6'2". 40 is the only thing people care about, even if you almost never run one in football

CEREAL, and yes he did.

What he did in SERIAL was win two Rose Bowls in a row in ridiculously amazeballs fashion.

Tebow belongs no where near the top of any lists... the guy who couldn't throw and made a living by running for 4 yards and running into linebackers is no where near the top of any list... he was just cute and white and the media liked him... that's it... hit really talented team won. that's it.

If someone said you could build a team around Colt or Tebow, you'd be an idiot to choose Tebow... and there are a handful of QBs that are between them, in fact.

I'm just going to say it- Any list that doesn't have Terrell Suggs at some position, OLB or DE, is wrong. He was probably the most dominant defensive football player in college in the last 30 years. He has career records and was 3 and out without a redshirt.

Considering it is a shortened version of "serious" i think i will go with "serial" instead of the breakfast item. I don't think arguing about the grammatical nature of a pun on South Park is really grounds for "pwning" people in general though.

DJ didn't win the Maxwell or Walter Camp award. Te'o won both. Also this is a college list. If not Tom Brady would be one of the QB's. And Te'o has only played one year. Who knows how good he will be.

Are you listing who won some shiny objects for a glass case or who was a better LB in college?

heh heh. I was about to bring up the South Park, the Movie, old, white general quote:

Chef: "Ever heard of 'For Serial'."
General: "No. I don't listen to hip-hop."

Anyhow, VY was an absolute beast who made entire defenses wilt for two years... not to be compared with anyone really... maybe Cam, but not really.

This post is ironic considering your fan base's irrational jealousy of Ron "I ran for 200 yards in back-to-back Rose Bowl wins" Dayne.

There are a handful of QBs i could see people go with over him and understand, but I would probably pick him if it came down to it. :suds:

There usually are no 100% clear cut choices when it comes to these debates though.

Why have you not mentioned Russell Wilson yet?

Do you have a brain tumor?
