Yes! No Geno in the first is basically ignoring all the reports (tweets) that we have been posting on the "NFL Draft / College Football" thread.

I agree. With Bush and LeShoure there is no way they take Lacy with the 5th over all pick.

While I can see Fisher being the surprise first over all pick I have a hard time seeing Floyd or Joeckel falling that far.

The thing about this draft is it can shake up so many different ways. Since 2008 the draft seemed pretty predictable for at least the top 10 picks. This year it can go in a lot of directions. Particularly because of the lack of QB talent.

But Crash, we need a kicker badly. Not sure we're planning to draft Dustin Hopkins in the 3rd round.

Similarly, just because the Lions may need a RB, not sure they are going to spend a high pick on one. Raiders are in need of a QB. They could go with Geno Smith at that spot. Raiders are more likely to draft a fellow California kid in Matt Barkley than they do with regard to draft Ansah with the 3rd overall pick. The chances of that happening is zero to none. Floyd out of the top 10 is highly unlikely as well. Austin will not last till the 29th pick. No one is selecting Eric Reid in the first round. Ravens just lost both of their starting ILBs (one through free agency, another to retirement). There are several ILBs you could pencil in at that spot, anything but a safety would have been logical. The safety class is deep this year, they can wait till rounds 2 or 3 to address that position.

Don't be too sure. They SHOULD select him in the first round because he's the best safety prospect im the draft.

I always love it this time of year when everyone tears apart mocks, but then when the actual draft rolls around it ends up being crazier than most of the mocks. That's why I really liked this one because it totally goes against the grain. This year's especially hard with so much parity between the mid-first to about he mid-second or more.

I'm thinking on the whole there will be a lot moves (as we've seen lately w/ the rookie scale), but it'll be teams jumping a few spots here and there instead of making bigger jumps. If I were a GM that didn't have a zillion picks like we do, I'd want to hold onto more mid round picks in this draft than usual, and I'd definitely be more patient to sit tight in the first Rd as well.

That's Dustin Hoffman dude. But Hopkins likes to "gurontee" things which could become a problem if he was a 49er
