There is January 1st.. considered New Years, we celebrate, some of us get drunk, and most of us lie to ourselves and make promises at midnight we know we cant keep.
There is Christmas, which some of us dont celebrate, some of us will be happy for a day on, and some of us will invariably be sad on.
But tomorrow, first Sunday for a football fan.. a real fan... This ladies and gentleman, this is our New Years Day, Xmas and Thanks Giving all rolled into one. Its a short year, and a long layover from February until September.
But to hell with that....
