Not hating on Brady but I just question his MVP selection.
I think Butler or Edelman were more deserving.

He had to throw the ball 50 times. He had little help in regards to the running game. Nobody was asked to do more than he was. He completed 74% of his passes for over 300 yards and 4 TDs. He had to lead his team back from a double digit deficit in the 4th quarter.
I think the guy earned this one.

This...
But I could easily go with Butler as well. I don't care if Brady threw for over 600 yards... If Butler didn't make that play the Pats go home empty handed.
I thought Butler should have gotten it. I know it was only one play, but that play probably brought the Lombardi trophy home to the Patriots, without that, the Seahawks probably score and it would have been difficult to see any outcome other than a 31-28 win for Seattle.
Pretty sure that Butler made a nice play to defend a pass only a few plays before his game winning pick. He was also credited with three PDs in the game. He would have been my choice, but I don't know that there was a clear cut MVP.

You know just as well as I do that you could easily turn around and state that if Brady doesn't bring them back in the 4th quarter, that INT doesn't even happen. BTW, was Butler on Kearse when he made that huge reception near the end of the game?
Browner jammed Kearse, allowing Butler to jump the slant route.
