FYI, I did this song at an airband contest in my town with some friends (back in the mid-80's). I came onto stage as the lead singer with one hockey glove on my hand and shone it into the light. The redneck crowd wasn't amused and proceeded to throw ice cubes and insults my way. We ended up winning that night, only because the other band didn't show up. We advanced to the next round and the bar owner pleaded with us NOT to play something like that for fear we would incite a riot. We wussed out and did some Motley Crue...FFS.

Years later, I emailed David Thomas of Peru Ubu and told him of what I had done. His reply was, "that was either very brave, or, very foolhardy." LOL
