Wow, holy s***. Got mixed emotions about doing during the season like this. But we've been terrible the last 2 years.

This team has been top 25 in recruiting since he got here, and not one of the top 75 teams in the country. He underperformed.

This is going to cost an ass of $ for the buyout.

I have no idea. Pipe dream is Urban Meyer for some fans, though I can't stand the guy. But I don't think Urb likes to drive trainwrecks anyway, would prolly have his sights set higher. If it's Jim McElwain, I'll start rooting for Coastal.

The main problem right now is that the next hire can't be entrusted to the AD Ray Tanner. His ass should be out the door as well.

Another guy who might get a look is Coastal's coach Jamey Chadwell.

Who was it that said no coaches would be fired during this year?

I want to laugh at them

Rumors put of Tejas that they are pushing hard for Urbs. If you are going to drive a trainwreck might as well get a ton of cash doing it.

Yeah, that would be strange Urby following up his former assistant. But I'm not sure Herman has done anything wrong there. For whatever reason(s), it's just hard for UT to get on top of the B12.

Meyer to South Carolina is like Jon Gruden to Tennessee, something people say around town that ain't gonna happen.

One interesting name I never see come up in all of this is Venables, cause it would be interesting if he wanted to move to HC. I also throw it out there to get a rise out of the Taters. Best DC in the country.

He never should have been the coach in the first place.

He couldn't win at Florida with their talent and access to excellent recruits, why would anybody believe he could win at Sotuh
Carolina.

If he wants to be a head coach agaib...he has to drop down to a mid-major school. (ala Kiffen)

I doubt that he could get a DC job at an P5 school, at the moment. He'd jump at the first job offer.

Tejas is NOT patient and they have money to throw around. A lopsided win loss ratio in the RRS is enough for them to start looking. It is not what Herman has done, it is what he has not done.

What about an experienced SEC winner like Hugh Freeze?

Dude has beating 2 decent ACC teams with Liberty talent.

He be good but as long as Sanky is in charge of the SEC he's not gonna allow Freeze to get a job in the SEC.

He could do better than South Carolina though.
