Murphy may play multiple positions on Redskins defense
I would try him at ILB. Even if he gains 20 points he is still too light to be a 3-4 DE. One role could be a DE on passing situations. SO Baker, Murphy, JG, RK, PS. Will this mean that we would bypass a 3-4 DE in the draft? Plus we did sign Reyes and Hood true 3-4 DE's. Plus you have to factor in RJF and Paea into the mix. Plus lets say we draft a guy like Ragland or Spence it just complicates things even more.
This is why I wanted to trade Murphy. He should be attractive to other teams b/c of his age. A 3rd or 4th round pick would be ideal for us. I know you guys disagree but where do you put him?
