Got the sweep on a team we should and now are setup with Castillo, Ray, and Kirby for a 3 game set in Cleveland where they only need one win to hold the season tiebreaker against them.
Good to see the bats coming alive a bit. More base hits. Hopefully they don't go back to pressing against what should be tougher pitchers, but they already handled them even with their HR-centric scoring.
They still have time to get it all working where it needs to be. Just stay healthy (talking to you Hani).
Their pitching is very good, offense is meh. They mirror the M's in a lot of ways really. I'm hoping the Mariners can take 2/3 with the starters that are lined up for the series. Mariners miss McKenzie and Bieber.I was thinking maybe one win vs Cleveland. Not being negative on M's, just think Indians are good. 2 would be awesome.
They are a great contact hitting team which kills the Mariners. They run up pitch counts and make us get to our bullpen which has been good, but not lights out like earlier. I would love 2 out of 3, but we will see.Their pitching is very good, offense is meh. They mirror the M's in a lot of ways really.
