It was worse than Raley's from the other day and that was bad. So we got a guy who hits into a double play to end a game in his first AB, he bonks his first try on defense on a routine ball, then hits hit by pitch in his first AB of his first start. Yep, you won't find a truer Mariner.

They said on the radio that Julio's HR last night was against the 4th fastest pitch hit for a HR in the statcast era.

He's a mess, but no doubt he has more in him than we are getting this year.

A perfect example of why I’m not a GM is Woo. I wanted him traded for a bat. Granted it’s only usually 5 or 6 innings but dude is the best on the team right now.

Yeah but issue with Julio has been this is who has been his first 2 years. Dude seems like he doesn’t belong then he will put up 3 months of being godly. No idea on how to get consistency from him and is my one big fear with trading for Robert.

Ya but I really can't believe Woo and be a top end starter for the long hall. He throws two pitches and eventually they will lock on to him. I hope it isn't until next year, but nothing in the past has said elite.

Ya he heated up in June of 2022 but not until July of 2023. But my point is, is a guy a Superstar if he is below average for the first half of the season? Half a season player is an All-Star caliber at best not a Superstar like he is being foolishly getting paid to be.
