I know people talk about sitting Martin (which doesn't make sense to me) but Guti should be the one that should be concerned as we head into the month of June... He hasn't done much of anything when he's gotten the call off of the bench...

Taylor can come up w/o Marte being D.L.'ed. Sardinas can only come up now if Marte is D.L.'ed or he has to wait 10 days.

Why isn't Lee playing more? Push Lind into the Mike Sweeney role and let Lee sink or swim. He may not be an all star but damn he has been Mr. Clutch thus far.

That is what I said a month ago (not mocking what you said, but agreeing with what you said with poorly chosen words). I am almost sold on using Cruz in the field again against RH's and let Lind and Lee play DH/1B respectively.

I'm glad Servais isn't as reactionary as fans are. Lind is gonna keep starting vs righties, and Lee will be in there for the southpaws. As it should be. Defnitely a slow start for Lind, but he's come around a bit lately and the middle of our lineup is carrying the team well enough that we can exercise a little patience with guys like Lind and Aoki.

That's obviously what they are going to do but we as fans can say we don't think that it is ok. Lee IMO has earned the right to play more, not saying bench Lind but more playing time.

Sometimes the more you use something, the less effective it becomes. Lee is facing almost exclusively LH pitching. You can fan-out all you want, but there's a good deal of data that backs up the logic of what Servais is doing here.
