It's interesting but then I always wonder why they don't bunt to move the runners up to take away the DP? You play defense very differently with runners on 1B and 2B than just at 2B.

A pathetic percentage of professional baseball players can't bunt to save their life. Teams get their 25HR/150k guy at the plate and he can't do what's best to win the game.

It really is a lost art because I remember back in the early 90s to 2000, it was almost required that every hitter knows how to bunt. I wouldn't be surprise if bunting is gone in the next decade.

At least they won, but yeah giving up 5 runs in the bottom if the 9th to anyone let alone this lineup is just awful.
