You entirely failed at offseason improvements to the team and have regressed in managing the team you have.

Texas went from a second tier team to a top flight in one offseason. It's been done before. With this pitching core there is very little standing in the way of this team being able to jump up as well outside of an ownership that doesn't appear to want to spend to do it.

yep. i really don't want jerry subtracting anything or at least as little as possible. but really, i keep talking about the next guy, but who out there would come in and do better? it's just a depressing situation all around.

Incorporate a GM that has total team control of players and personnel and money.
