If I had to come up with a justification, it would be that he is our biggest base stealing threat other than maybe Caballero or Dylan Moore.

Also let's just be real, this lineup is dog shit no matter how you arrange it.

Teo is a tough call. I don't know why, but I just don't see the Mariners extending him. Just a gut feeling of mine, and there aren't many great OF options in the next free agent class and I put our chances at making the playoffs very slim. We'd probably need to hit about 88 wins to slide into the third spot. That would require us going 38-26 the rest of the way. It's possible, but I don't know if it'll happen. Players like him are why I wish MLB had the equivalent of a franchise tag.

Mariners tried to extend in before the season and he turned us down. Trade his ass for the best deal and if there isn't a good deal then take the comp pick for him.

If we had a manager that knew how to teach young players rather than use their youth as excuses for why we come up short then maybe we wouldn’t continue to see the same thing over and over.

Especially with JP being the best on the team with runners in scoring position. I did not understand that either. Wrong time to use the bunt to advance runners. especially with Julio up next who strikes out way too much and is not very good with risp. All we needed was a single in that moment.

My only argument is that was actually good strategy and I team should take advantage of that. Both your points is valid because this team is inept and can't take advantage of it. I am more upset that Julio is the worst 'Superstar' in baseball. Just our luck.

His strikeout rate and swing and miss rate is off the charts.

Even when he just simply needs to put a ball in play / make basic simple contact he continues to fail miserably.

We without a doubt have the worst superstar in all of baseball.
