Starter only goes 3 innings so Servais being the genius he is doesn't have any reliever pitch more than 1 inning because...???

I’ve actually been wondering about this myself…. long relief pitchers no longer exist? Because I’m pretty sure back in the days, coming out of a rain delay like this, you ride your long relief pitcher.

I thought Flexen was the long reliever and would be a 3 inning guy coming up after the delay.

That’s what I thought as well… but he’s saved Flexen for last…. Like as if he’s the last resort if this game goes 18 innings? But we have ghost runner rules now. Makes no sense.

Trying to see why Flexen was saved.. because I've always under the impression that he would be the long relief guy... dude didn't even pitch yesterday. or at all this series.

Flexen has only pitched like 4 times since he was pulled from the rotation. I really don't get it.

The dilemma. M's have 6 more road wins than home wins and 2nd most road wins in the A.L. I know we want to host the mini series, but is that the best option? I still think it is, but at least a road series isn't a kiss of death. TB is 44-24 at home.
