You can bet..the mariners will have..
Tom Murphy back next year..
But we would like to see..him go without being injured..
And a 3rd catcher..other..than torrens
I want to feel bad for the guy because of all the trolls and memes he's getting but many of these issues are just self-inflicted. And his refusal to admit fault makes everything worse.
At 25 years old he's pretty much solidified himself as the Mariners catcher going forward and there shouldn't even be a debate about it.Cal Raleigh is the starting catcher for the Mariners, regardless of Tom Murphy's health
For sure, I get that and I agree I’d prefer to attend a playoff home game. It was just a question that I heard on the radio brought up that got me thinking of whether home games in the wild card was really a big deal if they could get a matchup where the Mariners could get home games during the ALCS…which I think is easier getting there against the Yankees vs the Astros.Sure, but you'd have to face them at some point. The 4 would not only have to win one less getting them in the ALDS, but the stros also will have sat for several days before that series. Maybe it disrupts their rhythm at the plate.
I don't want to settle for only breaking the streak either, but getting home games before worrying about future rounds makes sense.
Just get there without any more major injuries. It's a strong overall team, but their weakness is not having any depth at all except starting pitching.
Get to the end with the lineup in tact, get some home games for the fans, and lets see what happens.
That's why he shouldn't be umping in the League.I want to feel bad for the guy because of all the trolls and memes he's getting but many of these issues are just self-inflicted. And his refusal to admit fault makes everything worse.
