Gotta give some props to Miranda, he has done a pretty good job this season for a back end starter. Staying healthy alone is a big deal for this rotation.

I don't think he'll ever be an ace, but I do think Miranda will have a solid career as a middle of the rotation starter.

I agree, he is the type of pitcher that teams need to win consistently throughout a season. He can play a very often overlooked role, the depth of a rotation and the quality of that depth. Unfortunately for the M's they are running on 12 deep in the rotation right now so it becomes pointless.

That was the first thing I looked for. I am still a bit worried to see how he does tonight. I am well experienced in calf strains. I use to get them every other month for years when I was in my 40's and still playing basketball. They can be a bitch to get rid of.

Mitch Haniger ran and threw today in outfield. He'll take BP all weekend, starting Friday, and likely head out on rehab assignment Monday.

I think the only thing he has on his side is that he is the DH and not running in the field all game. That being said, here's for a 3-run bomb from him tonight with a slight gallop around the bases to go along with an 0-3 in the rest of his bats; to avoid running. That's all Pax should need, and with any luck he escapes unscathed

Yeah for a guy who gets less than 10 PA's a year, it was very impressive.
