I see we got a bunch of Bengals here lately, welcome. But I just wanted to hear your opinions on getting rid of Chad? (I refuse to call him by his other name because it's just another one of his rather dumb stunts, IMOI think he held).

But anyways, my opinion is that the Bengals are better off. To me, he just seemed as if his main agenda was silly antics, and that he held himself and media coverage for himself above winning.
I've been saying they should have gotten rid of him at least 3 years ago.

Any Bengals fans here feel the same? Differently?

3 years too late.

There are maybe 2-3 receivers you wouldn't trade for a high 1st round pick. And even less you wouldn't trade for a high 1st round pick and guaranteed 3rd round pick.

I didn't care about the stunts he pulled in the offseason or on the field until they began interfering with his game. Though I can't say for a fact they did. He could very well have just lost some athleticism or been fed up enough with the organization to the point he quit putting in the effort he did in his early years.

They say camp is much more professional now. Guys focusing on the work, trying to help each other get ready, and they are moving forward through practices at a better pace than before.

I appreciated the stats Chad put up, but I will not miss his personality. I am with you on the Ochocinco deal. He will be Chad Johnson to me also.

And what's the latest word on Carson? Do you think he'll be back?

Hell no. Mike Brown is too stubborn to trade him, and Carson Palmer is too rich to give a shit. He is retired and we get nothing for him.

Another chance to improve the team fumbled away by Mike Brown 3 years ago. Good post imo.

Yeah. He should have been gone when we had a chance to get value. Another genius move by MB.

We lost our best WR. Not sure how that can be considered a good thing.

We should have traded him when he had value.

Just like the Reds should trade Joey Votto.

Not a Bengals fan, but I would be turning cartwheels if I were. Johnson is a cancer and very overrated, imo. Much better off w/ AJ Green.

trust me, it was no coincidence that when he and the other clown were both injured and Jerome Simpson and Jordan Shipley were in the lineup instead that you guys started winning.

Simpson seems to be doing well in camp and I always likes Shipley. I think Caldwell stinks.

Sadly from what I hear we are keeping Cosby for some unknown reason this year too. Jesus is he a worthless sure on our team.
