How does the Tennessee at Texas A&M game ranked at #4 in the SEC with 6.55M but doesn't come in at #10 in the overall?

Everybody has hope the first game of the season. We might be beat down as fans from sucking for going on 7 years, but we still get fired up for at least one game a year. 2017 is our year! lol

Not a big Herman fan. He is probably the most high risk high reward candidate out there. Only reason he is so popular with our fans is his connection to the University and the hype generated from last season. I actually prefer the coaches who have shown they can win at a program not known for winning, have a track record of winning in a power 5 conference, or a NFL guy. I really want a guy who is a pretty sure bet to be able to beat the teams we should at minimum and see what kind of momentum that builds. I'm done trying to win on talent alone. We need a guy who can create game plans and make adjustments.

Just not a big fan of guys with more talented rosters routinely struggling and occasionally losing to inferiorly talented teams. He has a lot of Charlie Strong similarities. Very successful coordinator, excellent recruiter, who just outclassed his competition most of the time and won one really big game that boosted him into the limelight. I think we need more of a sure thing this time. Cant afford to miss again.

Interesting #'s. Also Notre Dame/Texas at #1? Probably because of the name recognition of those schools than anything else.

Well, that and the fact that it was opening weekend and there had already been some great games Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, and then this game capped the weekend on a Sunday night, all by itself.

Woot woot Wisconsin wins the most watched team award especially after the game of the week matchup vs Neb tomorrow. Do they actually get more money from increased ratings or do they just get a pat on the back while the billionaire owners of these TV stations swim in cash?

BUWHWHWH Wisconsin's 4th most watched game is almost higher than the most watched game of the PAC 12 this season. There must not be that many PAC 12 fans these days. It doesn't help that literally every team is down from what they once were with exception of the Huskies.

For the Top10 games, it makes easy sense they'd have those kind of ratings since I believe most of those were the ABC and other networks primetime games.
