That's an odd choice for a pic for that song. Jones had been dead for over 10 years when they recorded it.

While we're talking about overrated, the Brian Jones cult is annoying AF. They act as if he was the Stones and everything after his death was inferior... which is ridiculous. He contributed a lot to their sound as a multi instrumentalist, but he wrote nothing and great songs is the biggest reason they were great.

I have a slightly off topic question. The wife just got me XM for Xmas, which channel(s) should I check out to find Pick Floyd?

They're both in my favorites. So is Real Jazz. I get on kicks where I'll listen to the stand-ups on the comedy channels, too.

Willie's and Outlaw are my two most listened to stations by far, I also have Bluegrass Junction, The Eagles station, Prime Country and 50's on 5 programmed in, though I'm very disappointed with 50's on 5. I was expecting a lot more Chuck Berry, Fats Domino and the Sun Records boys.

I'll do a similar...click on the 70's/7 or 80's/8 and wait for stuff like Drugs In My Pocket or Turning Japanese....get a good laugh at the 'so terrible it's good' stuff, and <click>. There's only so much I can take.

Most of those decade channels are trash, imo.. top 10 pop stuff.

I don't think that Eagles station is permanent, is it? More like an anniversary celebration thing or whatever?

I don't know. I programmed it in when they were broadcasting their concert from Nashville when Willie;s was playing Farm Aid. It might be permanent, there's a lot of artists that have their own station.

I didn't even know it existed, but it's there. I'll have to check it out.

A lot of times I tuned in, it was live stuff...which is cool. I think that's the only way to make that channel really worthwhile. The Eagles have a great catalogue, just not a large one.

I just looked through their Holiday channel selection. How in the fuck do they not have a Christmas Jazz station? Fucking heathens.

Yeah. They probably do covers and whatnot as well. That's what they do with the Beatles and Springsteen stations.

I hate Christmas music in all forms unless it appears on a South Park episode.

Only good Christmas song ever made(not featured on South Park of course)

I just looked it up - its a temp celebrating Hotel California. I guess they reissued the album with some live tracks included.
