Here's another homer pick (Iowa Wrestling was the first), although "dominant" isn't really the word. "Overachieving" is more accurate for this team.

1939 Iowa Football Team (The "Ironman Team")

95 Nebraska 12-0

avg margin of victory - 38 points vs all opponents, 30 points vs 4 top 10 opponents (3 finished in the top 10, 1 dropped to 12)

You can bring teams up that had more NFL players on them or were "more talented" all you want, they certainly did not do what this team did.

'76 IU Hoosiers beat Kentucky, UCLA twice(once in the Final Four), and Michigan 3 times including in the championship game on their way to most likely the last ever undefeated season in NCAA Men's basketball. I'm not sure you can name a better team.

Aside from the absurdness of an UO team that hasn't even finished the season being on the list, the 1990 Washington Huskies' team needed a 5th down to win a championship; you're only allowed 4. :noidea:

I think you mean the 1990 Colorado Buffaloes. The 91 Huskies are one of the most underrated college football teams of all time and never needed a 5th down.

That 02' Hurricanes team was also undefeated in 01' and won nat championship, so they won 24+ straight games, so it wasnt just the fact they had the talent! So if that isnt one of the best dont know what is. They put up 59+ on 2 top 15 teams while just giving up 7 in both games comboned, gave Paterno his worst loss ever at Penn st. Also shut down Cornhuskers and Crouch up 34-0 at half in nat championship!

And yet they had 2 very close games while 95 Nebraska never won by less than 14...

didn't realize mgehee and andre johnson were on the roster. ken dorsey carved us up in 01.

i was too young to recognize players at that time.

Their backfield in 01' Clinton Portis, Frank Gore, Willis McGahee.
TEs Jeremy Shockey, and Kellen Winslow Jr. And WRs Andre Johnson, Santana Moss. Decent weapons! Wonder why Ken Dorsey looked good. And Defense had Ed Reed, Johnathan Vilma, Vince Wilfork...ridiculous!

The 95' Huskers were also undefeated in 94' and were part of winning 26 straight.

They pasted #2 Florida in the NCG 62-24

I Dont think most of 90s team will ever be duplicated! Dont know if its that their are so many talented team and athletes now or were they just that good?! I guess a little of both.

Also in 2000 they won 10 straight to end season and only lost 1 game. They had a 34 game winning streak from 00-02

You sure, I just looked up their 2000 schedule and they had 2 losses. I may be misunderstanding you though.
