Most dissapointing teams of 2011

preseason number one losing to baylor and tech and probably okie lite? they should be at the top of the list

I was called all kinds of hater when I said there's no way they're #1. They have a good team....but not a NC team. It amazes me how FEW people in the national sports media actually look at rosters, gamefilm, and just buy into hype. I've said it all year - OU doesn't have a great defense, and if you're betting on Landry Jones to win you a title, you're high.

For me, this season is what I thought it would be for them. I felt A&M was in the same boat.

Interestingly enough, I thought Nebraska would have a better season.

Nebraska was a massive disappointment. They were projected to win the legends at the very least.

Nebraska is without a doubt a disappointment to many.

Home loss to N'Western
Blow out losses to Wisky and Michigan.

I expected 2-3 losses being in a new more physical conference, but not the way they got them.

Defense was a big disappointment.

I think Mississippi State could be on that list. A lot of people thought they were going to be good this year and I believe they started in the top 25.

Yep, the bulldogs started at 20 in the AP and USA Today. That totally worked out.
