These teams were all ranked very high in preseason, some with talks of possible NC appearance and BCS bowls.

No one had Miami near the top 25. But, very disappointing. Wasted potential.

really? interesting, because we are technically very very young this year. I appreciate you thinking Oregon being in the natty talks until the second to final week and settling for the Rose Bowl as conference champions is a dissapointing season with a lot of young players.

Oregon certainely has come along way in the eyes of College football fans.

For me its the Aggies. A&M was ranked pretty high to start the year. Also the way they have lost so many of those games this year...I would most likely have had a stroke (or atleast several holes in my wall) if i was an Aggies fan this year.

Florida State is definitely up there. And Arizona State displayed one of the most spectacular late season implosions I've seen in years. But still, FSU takes the cake.

It depends how you define disappointing. If you mean "most overrated team", your list is fairly decent. If you mean "it could have been so much more, if not for a few tiny errors", I think that Wisconsin is #1. Certainly, i'm much more disappointed about this season than I was about the 2008 catastrophe.

I'm disappointed in Iowa. I expected a split from the Michigan teams and a loss to Nebraska. I didn't expect to lose to Iowa St and Minnesota.

LSU has disappointed me. I hoped they'd lose 4-5 games after the thug attack.

No team expects to lose to the Gophers. For some reason the Gophers have had the Hawkeyes number for a couple seasons.
Recruiting is tough for the Gophers, so we'll see what Kill can do the next couple of seasons. Hope he can turn it around here. At least get them competitive.

preseason number one losing to baylor and tech and probably okie lite? they should be at the top of the list

I think Mississippi State could be on that list. A lot of people thought they were going to be good this year and I believe they started in the top 25.
