Scott Morrison jumps back to Sportsnet to assume the title of Executive Producer of Hockey for the network...
Rogers Sportsnet is pleased to announce Scott Morrison, one of hockey’s most respected and credible insiders, is returning to the network.
Morrison, a recipient of the Hockey Hall of Fame’s Elmer Ferguson Memorial Award in 2006, is the new Executive Producer of Hockey, effective immediately. He will also appear as an insider on Hockeycentral and Sportsnet Radio The FAN 590 and FAN 960, as well as a feature writer for Sportsnet magazine and a contributor to sportsnet.ca.
“Scott Morrison’s leadership and proven track record in hockey helps raise the bar on all four of our platforms,” said Scott Woodgate, Vice-President of News and Information Programming, Rogers Sportsnet. “Adding him to our roster bolsters our ability to break news and to tell great stories.”
“I am pleased to be joining a great team. It feels like in many ways I am coming home again,” said Morrison. “I look forward to successfully growing the hockey brand on all four platforms.”
