According to ESPN Redskins reporter John Keim, there's a "good chance" impending free agent Kirk Cousins will earn more than Andrew Luck on his next contract.
Luck, of course, signed the largest contract in NFL history last offseason. That deal was for six years and $140 million with a whopping $87 million in guaranteed money. That's a ton of dough, but Cousins should have a chance to top that if he and the Redskins reach a long-term deal this offseason. With salary caps on the rise, Derek Carr, Matt Ryan and Matthew Stafford could all be looking at enormous paydays in the very near future. It's a good time to be an NFL franchise quarterback.
