b/c of that looney tune Shanny. If they do that it sets their franchise back even more.
looney tune shanny? Really? First, he is not the GM. Second, that looney tune just took the Falcons to the SB and almost won it against the Pats. Yup. Real looney tune. Oh, but let me guess. He bad a bad call in the SB so he is trash. He can't coach. right?

Its pure speculation that the new Qb will set us back. You don't know if we will get a FA veteran QB who can win with good players around him. You say his ask is going to be like other QBs but the other QBs are just better QBs than KC right now.
And its pure speculation what KC is asking for but you seem to engage in it every day.

KS is the poster boy on how to blow the biggest game of your life. He has a lot of pull on the final roster over there. Lets just pray he offers 2 #1s.

You said he is asking for the moon. where was that written?

And I dont think most if us will be surprised if KCs contract is in the Luck territory, nor will we care. That's because most of us understand the working of supply and demand as it relates to price increases. You, apparently, dont.

So what? Luck got more than Montana. Does that make sense? He got more than Rodgers. He got more than Brady. Where was the outrage then?

what can i say about dean he is a what have you done for me lately guy , he would dump aarron rogers because he is a bum for losing big to atlanta

guys shows up and almost wins a super bowl and he is a bum

carr stafford and ryan contracts are up next season . each one will eclipse KC's and then winston and mariota , and then dak

but dean doesnt see that . looking into the future and anticipating what will happen doesnt happen with dean

he really doesnt like KC but he just wont take the stand , its a song and dance tap dance here tap dance there , dodge here dodge there

free agents like garcon and jax arent coming here for colt mccoy or tyrod taylor hoss

and that is all free agents so they can go 6-10

player agents have already come out and said they will advise their clients to sign in DC if KC stays

but we are dealing with a guy who has no forward vision , just the right now

I just love how you can predict a record without KC next year. lol. Comparing KC to Rodgers skinsdad? Cmon man you forgot to take your medicine this morning.

You want KC signed at all costs. Blank check. same thing. Nothing you said is true. A lot of fans don't believe in giving KC what he wants.

Alot of fans thought it was a good idea to over invest in a bad QB, and now they think its a good idea to NOT pay a good QB. As these tend to be the same lot of fans with both these opinions.

Alot of fans are stupid apparently.

So all Redskins fans who would not pay KC 80-100M g are stupid? Even when you could have a legit out and get two first round draft picks? Is this what you are saying?

Yep... because you are using the price tag as justification to do something DUMB. IF Kirk gets $80M guaranteed.. guess what he wont be the highest paid QB in the league after next year. And likely wont hold that itle for long this year.

Your real desire is the draft picks Dean.. we get that. The idea that we wont get worse with a different QB is laughable. Because in the history of the NFL, You likely cant name more than a handful of teams who didnt get WORSE with a rookie QB.

So yes... to say that you would rather get worse than pay a good QB the market rate is DUMB, borderline Forest Gump level special.

Im using the price tag and 2 first round draft picks as my argument. Once again what makes you think that the Redskins have to start a rookie QB if KC leaves in 2017? Why is it impossible to get a veteran FA? I know Kc wont be the highest paid for long but the other guys who will get bigger deals are significantly better QB's. Why is that so hard to see?

Pure speculation that the Skins will get worst in 2017 without KC. You have no idea what Fa and the draft will bring. Plus I think the number is going to be higher than 80g.

Washington Redskins Team Encyclopedia | Pro-Football-Reference.com

A little refresher for you Dean. Take a look at the link & the Redskins record since the early 90s. Also look at the entries in the "Passer" column. Notice how they change a lot, and the majority of them are not too good & certainly not good for more than for a very short period.

Notice the trend. You can actually look at this & feel confident that the Redskins can find a FA or draft pick to pickup where Cousins left off? LOL. Many of those Redskins teams had talent at positions like WR and RB. What were they missing? A consistently good QB.

I think that you are extremely misguided in thinking that the odds are good on finding a good replacement for Cousins.

1. We are the Redskins. The odds that Dan Snyder is going to be OK with a Tyrod Taylor, or some retread are slim and none.

2. The odds of us finding the next Dak Prescott are also slim and none.

We have finally had some success over a more than one year fluke period, and you are more concerned with getting more draft picks and starting over. Its just as much, no scratch that... hugely more speculative that the Redskins can actually improve with switching QBs at this point in time.

But let me asks, what makes you think the Redskins can improve with either a rookie or a retread??

Let me guess - because the replacement QB won't be greedy, won't be making that much & likely won't ever fall short in a big game.
