NFL Power Rankings Week 3 - National Football League - ESPN

So, last week the Chargers dropped 2 spots by losing in the last second to a team ranked in the top 5.

This week, the Chargers gained 10 spots by beating a team in the last second that was 4-12 last year.

Who understands these things?

Getting a win when your a west coast team starting at 10am is always impressive... Especially when its against a NFC East team which is the most overrated thing ever.

Well - unlike college football - this info means nothing. It is also uses "flavor of the week" logic which is pretty weak. Obviously all that matters for any given team is wins.

That was the one that first caught my attention. Houston might be good, but they are very fortunate to be 2-0. Didn't see much of their game against TN, but the rookie WR DeAndre Hopkins was impressive.

lol @ 4 (0-2) teams ranked higher than the Bills.

I know the Bills suck, and have a history of sucking, but they should be ranked higher than at least 2 of those teams based on the games played so far this Season.

Agreed. The Bills seem to have been surprisingly competitive so far.

Possible, but only if they 1) stay healthy 2) don't make stupid mistakes like they did in both games 3) play better defense 4) finish games. All have proven challenging for the Chargers. Hopefully the new regime can fix it.
