That was when I became a Red Sox fan. I went to school in Boston for a bit, tickets were easy to get and I loved the history and the underdog/cursed status they had. They were the anti-Yankees, which I thought was cool.

Then, after their 2007 championship, they morphed into Yankees Lite: all the arrogance with a fraction of the success and I bailed.
