Lundquist has been flirting with disaster all night. He keeps playing very close to the forbidden zone, and throwing the stick on the highlight reel save was a bad idea. The refs would be completely justified in awarding a Penalty shot there.

Any time a goalie throws a piece of equipment in the act of making a save it can be awarded as a penalty shot. doesn't even have to make contact with the puck.


Of course, these refs are scared shitless to call anything.

Subban and Vanek could easily be the goats if they lose tonight. Both those guys need to engage and FAST. 20 mins and its the golf course.

Vanek has been pretty decent tonight, but not enough over the course of this series.
