Lackey is a fucking ass monkey, but as a pitcher, I think he's highly underrated. I end up with him in at least one of my fantasy leagues every year because people ignore the guy.

I'm not saying that I think he's Kershaw or Arrieta caliber, but he's a damn serviceable pitcher.

In fairness, the relationship between the Red Sox, their fans and John Lackey had gotten extremely toxic. I'm not sure they could have worked through that, so I think a "change of scenery" was necessary on that one.

Then again, it's entirely possible that the toxic relationship was created by a typical Red Sox front office PR smear campaign on Lackey. So, I don't know if the problem created itself, or if the Boston FO created it, but either way, it was time for Lackey to move on.

You ever been to Warwick winery......saW a lot of those old hippies out there a few weeks ago at Dylan fest. But the wine was surprisingly decent.

No, but their wines are pretty good. There's a few solid breweries in the area too (Pine Island Brewing and Westtown Brew Works in NY, and Angry Erik in Lafayette).
